given that motorcycles are cheap transportation, very DIY oriented, and all of 'em got some attitude. you'd think you'd see more punks on scoots. you see a few, but you almost don't.

got a few copies of this zine called "motorcycho" which is all about rock'n'roll and bikes. unfortunately is from ontario canada, so its not so local.

mabey its more prevelent in rockabilly, cause their all into classic cars and bikes and shit. I know little about the rockabilly scene, except for some of the more well known artists like the cramps and the meteors. I meet them here and there, like once at a bar or something, I'll run into some greaser/rockabilly type.

Most of the motorcycle people I meet look at me like I got three heads when I start talking about punk rock, or even any sort of underground rock.

There is always zeke, but no one seems to know who the fuck they are.(they ROCK btw, RIDE. WITH. ZEKE.)

just gotta know is there anything that combines some real rock'n'roll with motor-sickles? did I finally fall of the deep end or something?

yeah, but at the same token, you need wheels right. walking is great, but like, its slow, and you can't walk on the highway.

If you need wheels, and cheap, a motorcycle is your best bet. I'm supprised I don't see more punks on 70s and 80s UJMs(universal japaneese motorcyles). They can be bought for under $1k in good mechanical condition, cost mabey $100 insurance a year(thats NJ, I'm pretty damn sure elsewhere in the country you could insure them for less than what it takes to get you shitfaced), rarely break, high way capable, and you mabey spent $50 a year in maintenance.(change the oil + filter, plugs, air filter)

got my 883 nightster. I love it. Its a lot to fun. I got a harley cause I figured I should treat myself after spending a year in Iraq which sucked pretty bad.

I like harleys, I also dig old 60s british bikes like triumphs, nortons, and BSAs.

I've been into bikes since I was a kid, lost count of how many I've had. Currently I have a Suzuki GSX1400, a Fireblade Streetfighter and an old Guzzi. Over here in the UK you find plenty of biker punks especially in the streetfighter/ratbike/survivalbike scenes and you often find punk bands playing at biker festivals :) Gotta admit though crash helmets and mohicans are not a good mix ;)

Im a punk, own 11 bikes, even build custom bikes for others, had a few of my own featured and won shows for them, ride daily no matter what
Enough hairspray on the mo and it pops back up when you take ya lid off, mine lasts a week
I run and own a car garage, been a mechanic for 22 years but absolutely hate cars with a passion so it bikes all the way thumb(*
