“MONEY is no object when it comes to punk rock,” said Thurston Moore, the frontman for Sonic Youth. He was flipping through stacks of vinyl at Academy Records in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, with Jemina Pearl, his latest protégé, who had just unearthed a first pressing of “Raw Power” by Iggy and the Stooges, from 1973. “But it’s $40,” she sighed. “I’ll buy it for you,” said Mr. Moore, who is 51 and head of the label Ecstatic Peace. Ms. Pearl, 22, gave him an adoring, puppy-dog face. “Aww!” she mock-cooed.

My Raw Power vynil is a re-issue, I don´t mind, that and the CD with Iggy´s "on-the-red"mix ( slightly different from the original Bowie´s mix) is all the Raw Power I need.
:)
But I ´d pay 40 dolars or 40 euros for the first print, sure.
