i like it, got a unique style 2 it..its ike cartoonish, but at same time realistic/detailed
I want you to try to design my tattoo, my tattoo guy is designin it, but I'd like to get others 2 try 2...its gonna be on my right arm(starts at shoulder goes down and goes in to near blood vein)

Have the mic head on shoulder and work it way down till needle point right where your vein is where they take blood from

Loved ur work.
I reckon you'd be a good tattooist judging by those efforts!!
Seeing all the art you guys keep posting is making me wanna start drawing again. I used to do some stuff when i was younger but once i started working i found i never really had the time. And i kinda miss it.

actually yeah, the line work is pretty clean. And seriously, if you can draw, you can tattoo. Just be prepared to do a lot of shit that really annoys you.

Well, you'll inevitably be stuck doing retarded tattoo's that annoy the piss out of you in between the ones you really like. For instance, we had a guy get a John Deere symbol(and it was fucking enormous) that was totally retarded looking but he wanted it. Stuff like that is your bread and butter. The really neat ideas are few and far between. Like me personally, I fucking hate doing Kanji. It just annoys the piss out of me.

(Note: I'm not a bitch, this is constructive criticism)
Not too bad. Have you taken any life drawing classes before? Proportions and gesture could use a little work in your figures, even if you are going to distort them and make them stylized, don't use that as a crutch. Work on smoothing out the shading too, you use a lot of ball point pen which I myself am fond of, but try branching out and using more technical pens to try and get more variation in line, and finer crosshatching so it's not quite so obvious. Rember you can use things other than line to depict surfaces like tone and texture, not everything has to have a thick outline (even though you mentioned you're leaning towards tattoos)
Check out stuff by HR Giger although I'll assume you have already, godfather of biomechanic styled tattoos, freaking amazing.

that style dosent work well with tattoos, you need to soften up the shading and work on colors. proportions are a bit off too.

well one i never use ballpoint pens.
I have been working on proportions, i've been studying human anatomy because my skills in that are very weak, as well as my softer shading. I just recently learned how to do softer shading.
Also, yes i think HR Giger is a god.

i like your honesty even though its a bit on the harsh side. Like i mentioned in the post before, i've realized my shading is too rough for tattoo art. I'm in the middle of my first art class and i've been learning shading techniques. I didn't realize there were things called smudge sticks that could make shading softer. I'm still working on my proportions. I just started working on human anatomy last year so im fully aware that my proportions aren't good. This is why i plan on going for my apprenticeship in a year or so. When i know for sure i have this stuff down. Thanks
