I'm disappointed with the people in my life.
DATE: 03/24/2013 17:49:37 / MOOD: other

Yeah, I think I need to find new friends with more similar interests. For the longest time I use to think I was just shy and then I found the answer to my life: i'm introverted. I found this out after reading similar stories of other peoples lives. It's not that I don't want friends, I just just want a few friends that I can count on in life, and lately I feel like most people are just out for themselves and nobody really cares. I feel like the only reason a lot of people are here is just for partying or whatever, and I cant accept that.

I have no issue being alone and doing things by myself, but I feel like people are trying to make me see the same shitty way as everyone else is and I can't accept that. This life is too short for me, I want to experience everything I can and explore this fucking planet. I might be spending some time alone for a while, but i'd rather be alone and think about my master plan than just sitting at someones house drinking beer on the weekend because nobody wants to go out and experience anything real.

Will infections and sickness increase your blood pressure and BPM?
DATE: 03/08/2013 20:42:21 / MOOD: other

When I went to the doctors yesterday to figure out what was wrong me with me she ended up taking my pressure and my bpm. Needless to say they both were high. I'm not exactly Mr.Fitness here, but I try to hit the gym a couple days a week and skate when i'm able too.

I checked online to find out the answers and from what I read it was pretty normal. I still think i'm going to make an appointment to see a physician to get check out -high blood pressure runs on my dads side.

Why is HC/Punk music from the streets and has the same comparison to hip hop?
DATE: 11/19/2012 12:41:56 / MOOD: happy

I always wondered about the characteristics and how lyrically they're so close. Both of them these musical styles came from the streets in big urban cities. Besides the music itself being so different,  both of these styles of music are singing/screaming about the streets, friends, social issues, the system, daily adventures, etc. Growing up in a larger city like myself, I can relate to a lot of these styles of music and it connects to me as a person.

East coast punk vs West coast punk
DATE: 10/04/2012 19:15:04 / MOOD: in love

My buddy and I were having a convo about what had a better scene on both coasts. To me, the east coast had more of a aggressive sound to it as opposed to the west coast which was more pop surf oriented.

Death metal/black metal is too corny
DATE: 05/31/2012 17:48:54 / MOOD: other

I've always liked more extreme music since I was a teenager, but I think some of it is too much. For example, Death metal/black metal, a long with most metal. When I listen to music I want to listen to something I can relate to, which is why I  like a lot of punk. But, when I'm listening to Death metal/black metal I feel like they're going out of there way being extra cheesy, like a b rated horror movie, except on a record. I love the sound, but I cant just get into the imagery and the lyrics, it's too much for me. What is even crazier is people listen to this shit, and somehow it's been around for almost 25 years. These are my thoughts, not yours, telling me what you think.

Skate or Die!
DATE: 05/25/2012 03:17:58 / MOOD: other

I was telling a coworker that i sprained my wrist skating the other day, and he jokingly responded with "well arent you a little old for that, your 27 right, isn't skateboarding for little kids?". So when is the transition age I'm suppose to give up everything I enjoy, and start being lame? And how the hell is skateboarding any different that riding a mountain bike down a trail, or skiing? Sorry dudes, i'll give up everything I enjoy to hang out at lounges, read the wallstreet journal, and start rocking smokers jackets.
