Now I wanna see something history

Took a vacation from the sucess. The blog is getting more and more demanding. I know this could happened, I was prepared but still you can´t shield yourself from it. I decided I needed a vacation from it all. Last week was peculiar. I didn´t go see 5 bands on two ocations. Nothing in the world could have made me leave my coutch, where I was sitting watching documentaries about the beer industry and british crime stories with a few beers at hand. The winter have been long and snowy and just three weeks ago the ground was still covered with snow. The the spring was left out and the summer is here. Weird. The pollen problem made me dim. But the fact was It went from 0c to 20c in just two days. There was some christian holliday so I was off the work for two days, we all were. So I decided to take a daytrip to the small town of Mariefred and the Gripsholm castle with my 6year old daughter. The older kids have been there with school and was bore with it. The oldest then decided to try to alcohol for the first time, ending up puking, he came home with his tail between the legs. I saw it coming but couldnt prevent it. Maybe own failures are better than speaches by someone like me. At least if they are as inocent as this. Anyway We went to the little town with its 1700-1800 houses and the old royal castle. The thing with me and her is that we are on the same estetic wave lenght and had a wonderful time. Not too many tourists yet. She is as curious as me and can turn anything into something interessting. She was particulary interessted in the 1000 years old rune stones and the icecream both at the fancy ice cream shop. You Punkrocker.com brothers and sisters have in a bit turned my eyes back to our history. So I kind of decided to do the trip I never done in over 20years. to "see something history".It wasn´t the Berlin wall but the walls of Gripsholms castle.And I had a reasonable economy and the reason I had.

Now its personal!

I booked a vacation in the south of Sweden, A place I spend my childhood summers. I want to share it with my kids. A bit like Cornwall in England, Province in France they say.Anyway I know I did the right thing. Tonight it´s like a saturday. Its Valborgmässoafton. Normally we go out gathering around a fire as a celebration to spring and say hello to spring and summer to come. This year, the town hall decided to cancel it. Our youngest is soo disapointed and so Im I. I hate our conservative rule even more now. I couldn´t got better fuel (Sorry for the bad unintentional joke) for tomorrows Labor day. This year I will go with the Syndicalists. Watch/listen to DERBY STHLM, go to the anachist Café 44 to get a drink or a few, then More DERBY STHLM and of course will I play the "Internationale" and show our rightwing fuck ups we hate them! Now it´s personal, you not just rob the poor and ruin the country, you got my kid sad!

Beiber fever affects us all sooner or later.

Beiber fever here. The 12 year old have been like crazy for the last days. Since she got a ticket there been nothing else in her head. Personally I loath anything about that little twat. But she got a right to her own taste. But the two punk rock parents have to have some kind of limits. When she went off about going to the Grand Hotel and scream like an Idiot among other wreckless girls at her age and older, we said no. That isn´t OK. She can´t do that....when it comes to this I got some old fashioned ideas. That and join a Nazi rally is out of the question. But I understand her excitement of the concert because concerts are fun (if they are any good). I told her to focus on the concert, not the teenybopper idiocy, but I guess it was to deaf ears. Tonight she is there at the arena for the concert, luckilly another parent will follow them to see it, we don´t have to. My girlfriend is off to see Fields of Nephilim, on Sunday, I wonder if she will stalk them outside their hotel, I wonder if I will say no to that? Haha.

I just heard her, the voice of the next generation. We canceled our annual school Africa benefit concert this year. Partly because we couldn´t do it bigger and better. Partly because we cant use the Gymnasium for it any more. Partly because it became a monster.The new deal is that the benefit bit, that demands alot of people to attend will be done in a another way in another place. The concert can therefor be much more back to basicsm DIY by the students. And it was. I did nothing in it at all. And the place called "Fabriken" (the factory) was an old factory in wait of demolition. It got a real cool club feeling to it. But was was amazing me was the youngest performer was the greatest. Only 12 years old she sang like a young Joni Mitchell, Laleh with Johnny Cash attitude and a little Kate Bush feeling in it. in s song written written by her. Wow, I didn´t realized that it wasn´t a professional singer in an club in Mew York, that it was one of my students actually doing it. My Gods, was it something extra? I wonder what will become of her...

New costs. Well my new found glory with the blog have rendered me new costs. Now when bands thrown their new records after me there is a new problem. I aint got a Record player. Vinyl is the shit and I aint got it. So I guess I have to get one so I can enjoy the pile of record I got now.

I got warned

I got warned by people that have run very successful blogs, it takes it´s toll. Since I started the 1,2 fuck you blog Im never bored. On the other side it stress me a bit. I got warned by Kjell Hell by many that a punk blog eats your spare time like nothing else. I have almost always been listening to music, metal, hard rock, rock and punk. Been to concerts, since my late teens. Been surfing the net for bands and tunes since the nineties. It´s is nothing new. I always had opinions about music, art, fashion and politics, crashed the party stereo playing my selection of records as an uninvited Dj. It was just like the thing I´ll dod with the blog. I have had fanzines, been doing art and videos....But this time I feel I´m in control of it and I got readers.If I do an art exhibition people pretend that they havnt seen it, while doing the blog people tell me they read it. It is so different from all the above I wrote about. I like it.Bands now wanna send me review records for free....Isn´t it all wonderful? Then I have to whine a bit....I feel stressed by it, I now understand what they warned me about. Because more and more I feel like I wanna sit on top on a cliff in a Norwegan Fjord, a hill in Wales or the plains of my old hometown and just stare in to the scenery, and listen to the silence. But there isn´t time for that. kids, work, darling, punk and blog must have it´s share of my time....So now off to buy tickets to Asta Kask and Alonzo & Fas 3, then off to work, then do another last touch on Raven Taylors "If I fall back down" for the blog edition...Maybee I grab a burger in between...

I probably have to answer yes loud and clear on that claim. When West Coast Riot canceled this summer PSK4 will probably be the biggest Punk festival in Sweden this year. That I never get my lard ass going for ticketsd in the first place is a drag. But when I get an offering to see it for free, invited to be on the guest list of such novelties as Gatans Lag then you should go. Not me, the singer tried several times to get me to get the info I needed right to get in. And I used my telephone to memorize it I thought. But No, All info wasnt there, nothing was saved, I cant get hold on him and I got no idea how to get in. It starts soon and there will be a 700 skins and punks there squeezing themself into the place. Im not....Ligisternas bass player asked if I wanna join for a beer so I do that instead...some of the dudes that probably show up later claim that PSK is the party convention of Nuernberg, I say they are a bit touchy in their claim. I think the boneheads pretty much left the scene. I guess we will have an interessting night of discussions over a few (or more) beers, haha.
