wow.hard to believe it's been over 3 months since I've written in here.

Nothing of any real substance to report - Mrs. and I have set a wedding date for 2010, although we might have to push it back (if we don't have enough $$). Been working lots, new title, have to discuss a pay raise soon hopefully.

Birthday this Friday. Wish I could get out to Vancouver to visit my twin but unfortunately the lack of funds won't allow it. Hopefully I can get out there in the fall. Here's wishing all the Tauruses have great birthdays! :)

morning. Hope everyone had a good weekend.

So I only worked a half day Friday. Came home and vegged with Susan all day. Nice to be given the time off.

Saturday, we took Scotch to the vet for his 2nd round of shots. The vet loved him, said he was a cute kitten. After the vet, stopped and got a bite to eat. Came home, ate and watched Sweeney Todd. Pretty good movie and the copy I found was excellent. Watched the Leafs beat the Sens 4-2 on Saturday night.

Yesterday, we vegged out most of the day smoking doobs. Headed to Mike's place last night to pick up. Watched a bit of the Super Bowl when we got home. How much does that have to suck for the Patriots?!? A perfect season lost in the last 36 seconds of the game.

Not sure what's on tap for work this week. I have a Lunch and Learn today. woooo free lunch! Up to the parentals this weekend to dog sit. They're going to see Joan Jett at Rama. Going up with my cousins but they're (my parents) are meeting up with Susan's parents for a drink before the show (they're going too!).

Headed to the Humane Society this weekend and picked up a new kitten.

 

His name is Scotch, to go along with my other cats (Rye and Whiskey). He's about a year old, solid black and I'm know he's going to be a handful!!

afternoon. Hope everyone had a great Christmas!!

Had a pretty eventful weekend....Saturday, we got up fairly early, got ready and headed up towards my parents place. Grabbed my dad's present, hit the outlet mall for the last few things and then went to my parents for the day. Shot the shit, had some dinner, got our presents from them and came home. Opened up our gifts from them - dvd/vcr combo and some sweaters. Got a nice frame with a picture from K&J's wedding and a gift card for HBC from the boys.

Sunday, we just lazed around watching tv and smoking pot.

Monday, we got up, got ready and headed to Susan's parents place. Helped them get things ready for their party, had some dinner and then their friends came by. Had a couple drinks and then headed over to Mike's about midnight to smoke a Christmas joint. Got back in about 3am and headed to bed.

Christmas morning, Brooklyn came into our room about 9am. Headed downstairs and opened up gifts. Couple sweaters,a pair of Dickies, Simpson's movie, Dane Cook cd/dvd, Dave Chapelle dvd, West49 gift card, from Sarah, B and Greg and a few pairs of shirts, another pair of Dickies and a toque from Susan's parents. They also gave us an H20 mop! After opening up gifts and having breakfast, we make a stop at home before heading to my Nan's place for the 2nd half of Christmas.

Got to my Nan's place and opened up gifts - grandmother game me $75, some chocolates from one uncle, and $180 from my Nan and other uncle. Stayed and had a nice turkey dinner, dropped my grandmother off at the nursing home, dropped my uncle off and came home. Ended up spending Christmas night watching the boob tube and relaxing.

Yesterday, didn't really get up to much. Susan worked, I watched the boob tube and vegged about. I also took down the Christmas decorations. Picked her up from work and had some delicious burgers courtesy of Susan's work. Watched the game, smoked some doobs.

Today, haven't really done too much besides sweep and mop the floors. Might go for a walk today, who knows.

last day before the holidays!!

I have a bunch of stuff to do today which will at least help make the day go by quicker. Going to pretty low-key, that's alright by me!

So after work last night, we headed out to Brampton to see Sarah's ring and to look after B for a bit while Sarah and Greg dropped off presents. Had Chinese food for dinner, chatted for a bit, finished up laundry and headed to Mike's. Weren't there very long as it was getting late. Got home about 11:30pm, stayed up for a half hour or so after smoking a doob.

Tonight we're back to Brampton for Victoria's 8th birthday. Tomorrow we're headed up to visit my parents and finish off the last bit of shopping. Christmas Eve we're at Susan's parents until Christmas morning. Then we're off to my Nan's for the afternoon and Christmas dinner

Happy Hump Day to all, and to all a Good Screw!

Met Susan at her work after I was done. Trekked over to Pita Pit for a bite to eat After filling our bellies, we headed to grab Kristopher and John's present and then came home. Watched the game, had a bath and puffed a doob. Headed to bed about 11pm.

Going up to my parents this weekend. Have to grab Dad's gift and finish off the rest of our shopping. Still a few things left to get but we'll get 'em on the weekend. Could probably get at least one gift Friday night.

Still boring at work, but it's to be expected when most of our clients have been off for the holidays for at least a week.

holy shit! one more week until Christmas. I have most of the shopping done. Just need to get a few more things for a few family members. I say every year I'm going to do my shopping earlier (start in the late summer). But, without fail, I always manage to leave it to the last minute....although this year there's various reasons I couldn't start it.

on week 3 of no smoking. I've had a few more cravings in recent days but they've gone away moments after having them. I think I can say I've finally quit. Now, to reap the benefits of saving over $200/month!

morning. Hope everyone had a dry, warm weekend!!

Susan and I headed out to Brampton Saturday afternoon. Picked up Sarah and headed out to do some Christmas shopping. Greg met us and the 4 of us wandered around the mall for a while. After a few hours I was ready to head. We hopped in the car and headed back to their parent's place. Went to The Keg for dinner. Had the prime rib which was delicious as always. Decided to just make the trek home after dinner as the roads were starting to get covered. Made it home in good time. Vegged about watching tv and smoking a couple.

Yesterday was spent holed up in the apartment, minus a trek to get breakfast. That was sure an interesting time. Later on in the day, we were going to try and get over to Dominion to get some food but the snow drifts were too big, we couldn't get the car out from the underground parking! Went back inside and ordered pizza. Watched the tube and headed to be before 11pm. Final snow total was about 25-30cm.

Quiet week this week. Only have the office is here.

Nothing to report. Pretty low-key night last night. Work is pretty dead too. Winding down before the holidays. Hell, I've been winding down since last month hahah

Not sure what's on tap for the weekend. Christmas shopping for sure and possibly a visit up to the parentals. We'll see what happens.

Met up with Susan and walked home last night. Stopped and grabbed a bite, came home and ate, and then headed out to visit Mike. Smoked a joint, shot the shit, borrowed a movie and came home. Caught the highlights of the game and headed to bed about 11pm.

Another boring day at work. We're starting to wind down for the holidays and it's pretty lax in the office right now. I think my next week and a half will just be cleaning up before the break. Ah well, easy work. We'll be back into the full swing of things in January.

morning. Hope everyone has a good Hump Day.

Walked down and met Susan after work. We walked home together and then I got ready for the Christmas party. Took the streetcar down to King/Church and walked down to front. The Sultan’s Tent was a pretty cool place. Each “room” had a tent covering the tables, bankettes with pillows. The food was amazing – 4 courses. I had Sliced Smoked Duck Breast Salad, Moroccan Crab Cakes (with frog legs), Steak Frites, and Chocolate Oasis for dessert. I highly recommend it!! Price is pretty decent for what you get too - $40 and you add to it depending on what you’re ordering. The booze was flowing and there was even belly dancing put on for all the patrons. www.thesultanstent.com

Left about 11pm, took a cab home. Chatted with Susan for a few, she went to bed; I stayed up and watched a replay of the Leafs game. Way to go Belak! 142 games without a goal They’ve put together a nice 3-game win streak. Still doesn’t erase the fact they had lost 6 of 7 not long ago, but it helps.

Looks like a pretty quiet day in the office. Nobody really seems worse for wear today.

Day 12 of no smoking. Decided to not wear a patch today as it was giving me a bit of a rash. If I can get through today without the patch, I’ll just use them when I get a really bad craving.
