The first time you dress in a strange way in public is a kinda addictive thing. After the first year or so, being a punk wasnt what it was like in the beginning so people began to look back to Bolan and Bowie. They were outrageous pop stars and got all dressed up, but to do it on the streets seemed really exciting. I only ever wore a leather jacket and Levis but as I said before, at a fancy dress party anything goes!

I can see why George was fascinated with you.  Was that an late 70's/early 80's trend?  Why were men dressing like woman?  What was the fascination?
