keep in mind, kids, all events on this page are subject to change.It's my zine, I can do that=)(I'll try my hardest not to, though)

"When is it safe to say a man has crossed the linebetween polite and sexist? Helpful and condescending? The friendly stranger, or borderline stalker? And when does 'sociable' become "slutty" and just another case of 'asking for it'?"

For issue 4- When 'No' Means 'Yes'- of Danger! hole zine, we're making one hell of an effort to find out!

So far, the table of contents is looking a little something like:

* The Psychotic As Psychoanylists" essay

* 'Undone' short fiction

* true/false causes and solutions to stalking/harrassment

* 'Porn Up, Rape Down'

* support sites

* 'The Pickup Artist' Reality Show Rapists-in-Training

* coloring pages

* 'Girl at the Boy's Show' concert-going etiquette

* how-to say NO anywhere

* Holla-Back DHZ

* Drink Safe Techonology

As with the previous issues of Danger! Hole zine, I'd love to make this a multi-contributor piece. I'd like for this particular zine-baby to have as many mommysanddaddys as possible!

So, pass these questions around, and feel BEYOND free to contact me with yr answers/thoughts/and ideas!

I am now taking submissions on:

Holla-Back DHZ- (this is obviously a sensitive issue and I definitely feel a connection to the abused-pointofview. I also started working at a battered women's shelter recently. All these factors made me wnat to get information and stories into the open; I want to remain empathetic towards some men and women not wanting to share some details, but I find this a tricky and unspoken for issue all around, so I want tow ork extra hard in making this a diverse, open episode of Danger! Hole zine. if you can help in any way- I will do any procedure necessary to keep your info private/protected.) I'm taking submissions on personal experiences with the issue. Anything from a rude comment, nasty look, harassment from a dating partner, anything can be sent in. THIS IS CERTAINLY OPEN TO MEN AS WELL. danger! hole zine REALIZES THAT SEXUAL HARASSMENT IS A TWO-WAY PROBLEM, AND ANY STORY YOU HAVE WILL NOT BE OVERLOOKED.

Polls- to come out soon!

Deadline: FRIDAY, OCTOBER 12

To celebrate our 6-month anniversary at Danger! Hole zine, let's celebrate and get. fuckin. kinky. Issue 5-XXXy- will focus around sexual health. Our favorite.

So far, we're looking to include:

* a book review of Jane Sexes It Up & an erotica piece

* sex ed stories

* 'strip trip' experiment

* fairy tale-styled fetish prose

* list of turn-ons... and ice-cold turn-offs

* a condom review

We are taking submissions on:

Toy requests for a review/reviews YOU kids want to submit

Sex Ed stories- tell me what you were told, when, was it abstinence-only? What exactly did you learn? Who taught you? (Did it help much?)

What's Yr Take On...- there are 10, you heard it, steps to putting on a condom. What do you think they are? (no cheating and looking this shit up! I want yr take on what these 10 steps could possibly be)

Deadline: FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 9

Of course Danger! Hole zine needed it's music issue. Enter Issue 6-When the Girl Rioted- . The full title includes (...and coincidently, the world as we knew it ended.) As though my zine-baby isn't chunky enough, I imagine this issue should be busting at the seams. Staples. Whatever.

This issue ought to include (as of now):

* is R.G. still breathing?

* Spice Girls "girl, um, powah?" vs. "grrrl fuckin power" (the long-awaited: de-evolution of Riot Grrrl)

* how-to: be a grrrl like you mean it!

* tales of the Riot Boys

* levels obscurity in the obscure Riot Grrrl World

* lessons the Grrrls taught us (in the ways of sexuality, incest, rape, body image, mental health...)

* media thoughts on the Grrrls
