so im a pretty big fan of old rap and hip hop and shit.  Like late 80s early 90s

but i've noticed when people find out about this... they always wanna talk to me about it.

and they always ask me what artists they should listen too

and i just shrug and tell them i dont listen to underground rap

because i've found out everyone expects you to listen to underground just cause....

they see me.  They see I'm a punk.  So somehow that makes them think that i actually know shit about hip hop.  Like because they just think since i know about punk music, and my local underground scene, and other great bands, and blahblah blah, and actually know good music from crap...That I SHOULD know about underground rap

god, i dont know shit about underground, ok.  I only know about the bay's scene cause of my brother and my sister and her famous dj boyfriend... and its not hard to figure out since it's become so mainstream.  And i don't even like hyphy that much anymore, it's become so mindless and talentless... quite like the bands that pop culture consider 'punk' today

so yea... i dont understand why everyone expects me to be some guru of rap music but its pretty stupid, cause i like punk music and that's the reason im not into every other great rap band out there... okso get off my case cause i dont know who whoever the fuck is

i listen to pop.  Early hip hop in that was on mtv back in the day, ok, cause its good.

and hyphy is a joke to me, and i treat it as thus.  Thizz dance... thizz dance... can you do the thizzle dance? hahahaaaa

but for serious... if there is rap being played on the speakers... get the hell away from me cause i dance up a storm
