Over the weekend (Oct 4th/5th) Forward Edge began work on the follow up album to "Beaten, Burnt and Made to Dance" (Due for release on iTunes Nov 2009).

Two songs were recorded, The first a glorious glam rock stomp about a ficticious Reality TV star named Chlamydia Asbo is being considered for a December single release as it is so good. It is likely to be paired with an as yet unheard Christmas song which knowing the lads is likely to be very tongue in cheek.

The other side recorded was the moody and brooding, Vanity Fair, which puts one in mind of Coldplay and Nick Cave but is unlikely to be heard until the release of the second album in 2010.

Both songs clock in at over 4.30 which leads one to believe that this album, provisionally titled "New Stings Attached" marks a major shift in direction from the straight punk rock template utilized on the first album.
