why are they always trying to save my soul?
ok, it's admittedly a little judgmental and harsh to refer to all christians as 'stupid', but i had a theme to work with here. perhaps 'dynamic ignorance' is a more appropriate term.
i just don't have time for this shit today though. i thought maybe some of my loyal readers might have an interest in reviewing and commenting... actually, ya know what? i'm giving you all an assignment: brief this article for me so i can respond to this guy.
when i get some spare time, of course... after all, i wouldn't want to be condemned to burning in hell for 'blowing off god'. (or for 'sucking off god', for that matter).

generally i consider talking about god a complete waste of time. people have been doing it for 1000s of years and nothing really seems to have come of it. well, except war and oppression...
what 'valuable info' might you have?

the bible is a history book of the past and future. there are also prophets that predict things of the future and are more specific. but to answer your question, it predicts the way the world is going to end, what event will take place, it talks about how the believers of God will be persecuted, it predicted caesar and his empire changing the laws of God, its predicts wars, and the way society will be even more corrupted and Godless. there is a pretty big list

God is real and he is coming back for the people that belive in him, just ask him to forgive you for any wrong that youve done. there are facts in the bible that have already happened. so if there is a book that contains the accurate future then it isnt a waste of time at all. its REAL. 100% but the most valuable info i have is information about God. no matter what we do he still loves us. i dont want to be one of the many who burns in hell for blowing off God.

history of the future?that's a novel concept...predicting the way the world's gonna end?i've read revelations and i'll bet you $50 the bible's wrong on that one... but... i suppose the winner would have some trouble collecting on that bet!and in what book, chapter and verse did it predict "caesar and his empire changing the laws of God" (not that everyone couldn't have seen that one coming anyway)fact is, it doesn't really predict anything, but just provides a fantastical account of fire and brimstone to frighten people into conformity and complacence.i certainly understand it, i just aint buying it.
what i don't understand is why people like you would think people like me want any sort of relationship with an imaginary bearded man in the sky. i know you're trying to do a good deed by 'saving my soul', but don't you think that people who need to fill a gaping whole in their lives with faith seek out religion on their own?

1st off, i have better things to do with my time than attempt to prove the invisible spaghetti monster does not exist. it is completely illogical, goes against every known scientific fact, and no one has ever seen it... kinda like god.
2nd, your chances of convincing me the bible predicts the future are about as good as my chances of convincing you to become an atheist.
finally, this is not to say i won't read it. i'm an open-minded guy (unlike most 'christians') and will re-evaluate if provided with new evidence. however, reading about bible prophecies is not on my list of priorities right now.
if i get some spare time to waste, and feel that link is worth a read and a response, then you'll hear from me.
'til then, good day sir.

what say you, dear readers?
