I hate Kusturica actually! He is fucking stupid nationalist. He was doing some stupid things during the  war and he is doing stupid things now... Singing about Serbian war criminals in very positive sense with his band for example... As for his movies, I like his first two movies "Sjecas li se Dolly Bell" and "Otac na sluzbenom putu", which are made before the war. After war he changed his style and started to make silly movies which have nothing to do with life in Serbia... If you are looking for REALLY good Serbian directors, I would recommend you Goran Markovic and Dusan Makavejev... :)

Last Polish movie I saw was "Cztery noce z Anna" and it was weird :)))

I liked "The Limits of Control". Some fans of Jarmush are disappointed, but I think it's OK... "Permanent Vacation" is classic, of course...  I like Kieslowski too...   I guess that you like band Komety... Some year or two ago, I used to listen to "Nude nuda nuda" all day...
