Virginia is more sweltering & humid than horrible. I think...It's actually beautiful here in many areas.

My town is larger than a few hundred people, but everyone seems to know each other, for the most part. I work as a home health nurse & keep finding patients that know or are somehow related to friends that I've known for years, It's bit disconcerting since there was a time when I had a tendency to not give much of a fuck about, well-much. I never hear negative reports from my patients, though.  

Growing up on the edge of the Black Forest must have been pretty cool. Beautiful area, there...

I was commenting on the Bull Terrier...cathoulas are great dogs. I almost adopted 1 at the SPCA a while back. She was gone when I got back there tho. Some friends & I rented river lots in WV this year- so that's where my dog got in the fishtrap. The whole campground is pretty redneck but most of the people seem cool enough. And usually hammered, as well. Haha! I'd love to find out which dumbass put that trap out, tho. The dog is fine now. No swelling/heat/sign of infection, but I never want to hear her scream again. It was horrible. & nice to 'meet' you...

That's unfortunate. Start answering the adult ads on craigslist LOL Ya I love the LBC. I was lucky enough to live there for about 4 years. There is no better weather than in Long Beach! Speaking of shithole towns I'm in Bakersfield these days. I think it's like number one in CA for pollution lol.
