Punk Eriksson is a name that sums up Mr Erikssons punk band experiences.  

Per Eriksson started Apan Sprattlar in 1980 in the small town of Lidköping, with the motto "If Kräldjursanstalten can sell cecords, we can start a band". The band gained no recognition and success at all from the outside world other than the core fans that showed up en gross at their rehersals in the town music store. Until the owner found out. The band was banned to play at the youth centers in the town because of the fear of punk rock in general and other lame excuses. The only way to play for an audience was to rent a place ourself. Which happened to be next to the youth center. Eriksson had a time out from the band because of hospitalization due to liver diseaze which was ironic because the band was straight edge at the time. After that all of them started to drink.

The band broke up in 1982 but went out with a bang, changing their name to GPK (Gutta Perkas Kalsonger) and was harder and faster and more of an Oi! band, Ironically claiming they were Christian skinheads. This and the performances later with Nemesis made Eriksson to end up at a list of kids to watch out for and bevare of, by the local Misson Church. Eriksson, who´s brother with his band Styggelse also was on that list, thought it was hillarious, because they was brought up in an anti christian fashion. 

Apan Sprattlar was partly reformed under the name Kinky Toys. According to Mr Eriksson the band Apan Sprattlar stunk and was one of the worst  band ever trying to play music, so with Kinky Toys they wanted to prove that they had learned to play. Some of Apan Sprattlars songs was covered by Grå Korridor, sung by Anders Pihlgren.

The summer of 1982 Eriksson went to Long Island, NY and jammed classic swedish punk songs infront of puzzled Americans, with the punks and Zeppelin fans in the neighbourhood. 

1984 Eriksson joined Nemesis a King Crimson, early Pink Floyd kind of band and brought in some beat poet, spoken words and punk attitude to the band. The band was already a bit established locally. The music scene had changed drastically and the community now supported new bands rather then opposed them like AS experienced. The County press loved the band and so did their local followers. Eriksson was however kicked out of the band when the band changed their name and music. Nemesis was soon dissolved after Erikssons departure.

After that he started a few one month band and auditoned for others. It was a time where nothing seemed to fit. 

After relocation to the swedish capital, Stockholm, entering art school, Eriksson formed Street Walking Jesus 1988 with people from his hometown Lidköping, along them the singer from Sty Anders Högrell. A band heavy influenced by the Seattle scene. The band was ahead of its time and people in the punk scene didn´t fully understood the grungy sound that a few years later would be chart toppers with band like Nirvana. SWJ played at the half speed compared to the punk bands at the time but got a few fans though.

During the Nineties Eriksson performed and recorded music as art performances and as a part of art installations using his alter egos Per E Riksson and Cyb Vicious. 93-95 Eriksson had a collaboration with artist Petrus Vavami from the group Kekkonen Heroes, under the name Czobot Company and can be described as Indutry and Noice.

2008 Magnus Hall and Per Eriksson formed Lap Dogs, . After trying out some drummers, Dog Day drummer Marcus joined and the trio was complete. Pretty quick they went from a punk trio to become a pub trio. Which ment, discussing the songs while having a few pints was more accurate than rehearse. 

Occasionally Eriksson perform a song once in a while at benefit concerts together with Magnus Hall which they are both organizing.
