The story of American Chaotic begins back in September of 2009, where probationary consequences had plagued a small town boy named Arjay. An idea slowly turned to reality after contacting an old friend, Matty Kay, asking if he'd like to start a band, Kay's reply being an immediate yes, "Nine Days To Freedom" was born... After many sessions with Matty Kay and their drummer EJ (later known as Doctor EJ, being that he had a vast knowledge with almost anything you could ask him) Arjay and EJ decided, unfortunately, that Matty Kay had to be let go due to many complications and disagreements on subgenres of Punk Rock. So with Matty Kay gone, EJ and Arjay went with a hardcore path, rather than Pop-Punk, the desired subgenre of Matty Kay... Over the many days of practicing, experimenting and writing, EJ and Arjay released various hardcore punk tracks, such as "God's System," "I'm Pissed Off," "Wake The Fuck Up," and "The Government Killed Me." .. Later on down the musical highway, the two-piece band decided that it was time for a name change, seeing that "Nine Days To Freedom" held too much past within, considering that name had been brewed during a conversation between Arjay and Matty. So, EJ, looking upon his cat "Kayos," and thinking of the politically-driven lyrics, the name American Chaotic was formed, and a brand new road had been laid before the two. Excitement filled the two like fire... After many lineup changes, bringing in new people, and returned to the old after things had not worked out with new members, EJ and Arjay pushed on, finally releasing their first LP "Let Us Rise!" with Christian playing bass and doing backing vocals, before deciding to take yet another new path, writing lyrics that more people could relate to and more hardcore, less punk music, which leads us to present day American Chaotic, playing songs such as "Marionette" and many more yet unreleased tracks of mind-ripping, heart-pumping core of pure destruction and anger. .. So far, American Chaotic has shared the stage with: I Am Ghost, Modern Day Escape, Misery Loves Comfort, The Becoming, To Speak of Wolves, Us From Outside, Driver Side Impact, and Victory In Numbers.
