exactly. Its ridiculous. My x and our old room mate were from LA and they seem to think the scene here is amazing. I don't know though because I've never left Portland.

eh... it was pretty good, then a bunch of people wanted to start a gang and call it RIOT PUNX. It was all sketchy, and when I went to the meeting they basically said no girls allowed. I asked them why I couldnt be in riotpunx and they told me I needed to go through a black skinhead chick. I asked around to see if anybody knew this chick and nobody had ever heard of her or seen her. It seems like in the past year the scene here has just gone down hill. Theres Pirate punks and they're cool. They have branches all over the US. I wish there was more hardcore chicks in the scene. Its all a bunch of chicks who show up at shows looking cute.

i  would say the scene down here is ok. it could be way better though. sometimes we have shows every weekend and other times like right now we don't have many. its hard to find houses where they'll let us throw shows at haha. how's the seen up where you live?
