Well if you were to take the bus to L.A. then you'd have to use the Greyhound, which will take you to Downtown L.A.  I know for sure that Sacramento has a Greyhound station that will most definitely take you to L.A. but not too sure if Frisco has one. You should check that out if you haven't done so. The only problem with the Spring, for me, is that I would still be in school (at UC Santa Cruz) during that time so I wouldn't be able to be your tour guide thru the L.A. area.  L.A. is definitely a place to check out for shows, a very great scene also because lots of bands come thru when on tour.

There's two places that I can think of at the top of my head & they're the Infest Warehouse in Downtown LA or a place called "The Spot" not too far from Cal State L.A.  Are you planning to come down to L.A. by yourself?

yeah. tell me about it. Some of the drummers are more into metal, some of them are in several bands at once, etc, etc. So I just gave up and started learning drumming right now.

yeah, that's one of the reasons I'm taking up drumming anyway. All the drummers are taken.

yeah, I'm cool. trying to start a band together with my friends, but we cant decide on what we want to play (but I'm steering them towards pop punk since none of us are any good anyway )
