i am working my way through all this photography business nonsense, one last-minute shoot at a time, taking pictures where i can, when i can. mostly i've been taking pictures of friends of mine, but i have met some pretty inspiring people through this experience. i have a profile on ModelMayhem, with many of the same pictures, but it never hurts to spread your nets, you know? as for what i do, well, there's all those pictures i've already taken to give you some idea. but if i'm gonna put it into words, i'd say i'm into bold, colorful looks. sporty. sleazy. mod. innocent sinister. glamorous. libidinous. energetic, teeth bared. i use a canon xt, and whatever lighting i can get my hands on. at the moment, i'm not really in a position to pay models anything (other than food and drinks, and gas money), nor do i demand payment for most of what i'd be able to do. what we do is collaborate, we both give our time and energy, and hopefully we both like what comes out of it. and keep in mind, once this profile is up and running, all new updates will show up at the end of the pictures, so head on back to that final page, once i get that far, ok? and not that you've read this far, but my "top friends" are models i've befriended and have worked with / plan on working with, or they're photographers i know whose work i respect. it's far from a complete list, mind you, but it's a start.
Who I'd like to meet:
people who know what to do when a camera is pointed at them, or are (at the very least) good at faking it. the unashamed, the unihibited, the unabashed. how much do you feel like exposing? that's not always the same as how naked do you feel like getting. also, since this particular profile is more about my work than socializing, it'd be nice if there was some introduction when you send me a friend request, especially if you're interested in shooting with me. |
