In 1977 Dirk Dirksen hired me to work at Ness Aquino's Mabuhay Gardens, the First & Last Outpost for Punk Rockers. I'd end up mixing sound for 3 bands a night, seven days a week for the next 5 Years until I joined the Air Force in 1983.
Now 30 years later, I'm doing it all again, this time by Starting a new Punk Rock Record label: Mabuhay Records. Over 3 Nights starting Halloween at Club 443, The Following Night at Annie's Social Club and finally Nov. 2nd at Fat City. 15 Bands over 3 Nights as we celebrate the First Record Release from Mabuhay Records: "The Best Of Mabuhay" featuring 15 Tracks, from 15 Different Punk Bands From "Back In the Day"
