Stricking a beautiful melody on my soul’s chords

promises of an eternal life danced in my head

now moon water trickles down these are tears from the dead

your words once spun of gold

are no more than broken promises

"I’ll wait an eternity"

his maddening lips spew

what a cruel hypnotic trance you put me through

your words of granduer filled my heart

whilst sending me kisses miles and miles apart

they played me like a fool...your broken promises

tears of maddness fill my kaleidoscope eyes

my mind and heart battle one another

one trying to over the other

In my head they are still fighting

in my head my heart is dieing

I am dieing again

as your broken promises drag me under

words spun of gold filled my head

It’s impossible to forget all that you’ve said

words of self indulgence

intertwines with my souls essence

I sit here clothed in the shower

feeling your words deadly power
