Doesn't seem like there is much that can be done. I don't know why protesting was so uncommon in the last eight years, or maybe the news just didn't cover much of it. It seems like punk music as a whole is just weak now, as almost no bands are political anymore. Most seem to sing about how many studs they have on their jackets or how tall their mohawks are or beating up hippies.
