I was talk to a friend who was trying to decide weather it was better to forget about your personal dreams and goals in life in order to find financial security, or embrace your dreams and sacrifice things like money and a comfortable life. We agreed that to many people in society today believe that you can never be happy without a full-time job, a big house and all that good shit. To many people are to quick to sacrifice everything that they hold dear to them just to follow the expectations of society. And those who decide "fuck this" and embrace their dreams instead and sacrifice everything to make those dreams come true, their the ones who have people putting them down all the time. For instance I've gotten the whole "You can't be a rock star, sooner or later we have to grow up" line a few times in my life. I've also had people tell me that I can't rely on my skills as a musician to get by in life. Why not? Who says I'm in it for the money anyway? I'm in it because I love it. Or as my friend said, I'm in it to make as much fucking noise as possible. I mean if we forget our dreams, what do we have left to remember ourselves? We become empty hollow shells of the people we used to be, void of dreams and hope and years down the line we look back on what we use to be and we ask ourselves one question: What if? We only have one lifetime to accomplish what we want, so why not try it? At least if you fail you can say you failed but you tried! Don't give into what society want's, it sounds childish but don't fucking conform to that bullshit unless, THAT'S what you want and who the hell would want that? Follow yourself, or you will forget yourself. This blog brought to you by Rotten Tom lol
