Yes, it IS hot enough for me!

Well they say these kinds of things come in 3s and I bloody well hope they're right, because I don't know how much more o this I can take! Certain plans that I had for this week have been blown right out of the water! It started Monday Night/Tuesday Morning CST at 1:30 A.M. when my part of town experienced a power outage! That lasted for 12 hours so I couldn't do ANYTHING but just stay up, watch the sun rise and then go to bed! At first the electric company said that they'd have everything fixed by 3:30 A.M. and then it became 6:00 A.M. Well, by 7:00 A.M. I just got fed up, decided to take advantage of what cool air was still stored in my house and hit the sack before it got oppressively hot! As I said, at 1:30 P.M. Tuesday afternoon, the electricity was restored for two hours, and then at 4:00 P.M. it went out again. It didn't affect as many people as the previous power outage, but it was still an annoying inconvenience nonetheless! And I wake up today to find out that the air conditioning in my parents house doesn't work! My parents and I both have central air conditioning, so the whole house is cool when it works! I've been finding excuses to keep going back and forth between my house and my parents house. (We live next door to each other) The thing is, the computer I use is at my parent's house. I don't have a computer at my own house. I am over at my parent's house almost all the time because my mother isn't as fit as she used to be, so I end up taking care of her an awful lot! I am really at the end of my rope here! I was supposed to burn a whole mess load of C.D.s to give out at a gig tomorrow, but because of the power outage, and the fact there is no air conditioning, I haven't been able to do that, so if I do go to the gig tomorrow, I won't have any C.D.s to pass out to people! If there IS any upside to this, it's that I can stay next door and actually clean my house considering it's a pig stye, and being that it IS much cooler over there, I now have a reason to get to it. (I guess I could consider that a blessing in disguise, not to mention the fact that I'm always advising people to get some god forsaken chore out of the way when they're bored, so I should follow my own advise) I'm hoping that my mother and her husband WON'T want to crash out at my place tonight! I can put them up. I do have two guest bedrooms, but I'd rather not. My house is a mess, and I value my privacy. (Plus my mom's husband finds fault with EVERYTHING in the world and WON'T keep his thoughts to himself!) GRR! SNARL!!! FNARK SOUNDS!!!!!!!!
