I'm watching all this shit on youtube about my city, Philadelphia, the section known as Kensington and how it's over run by drug addiction and poverty. It makes me really sad to see that things have gotten so bad here...I use to hate this place when I was a teenager, me and Jon called it "Killadelphia" and all we wanted was to get the fuck out someday. Jon made it out but now that I'm older part of me just doesn't want to leave. The streets are are run down and falling apart in a lot of neighborhoods and the police...they don't really care. At the end of the day it's just a fucking job for them. The sad part is they treat the people who are innocent like the people who are guilty. Throwing the criminal to the ground and threatening to arrest the bystanders if they don't get back in their houses.

Why? They're not doing anything wrong, just watching what's going on in front of their house like concerned citizens do. It wasn't always like this here either. Most of Philly especially Kensington was all industrial land back in the 1900s and if you lived in Kensington you most likely had a job at a factory. Things didn't get like this until they shut down all the factories and moved them out of the country. Now you have a city full of poverty like many other cities, the economy is fucked and the government doesn't seem to give a rats ball sack about it. It makes me fucking sick with anger and I mean I don't live in a bad neighborhood granted Northeast Philly has plenty of crime and in about ten years we may be just as bad as it is down in Kensington and West Philly, but it really does make me fucking sick to see that things have gotten so bad and the people who sit behind the desks and run the show are to blame.

So while Jon got out I'm still here and I no longer hate this city at all. I love my city, this is home....I'm just sad to see things going down hill slower and slower. Now I know Philadelphia is not the only city in the country with problems like this, it's just damn....it fucking sucks. Doesn't anyone care? Or is it just the people who are suffering that give a fuck.

What the fuck is happening to my city?

Well the municipalities declared it wasn't a cop killing free for all, just that when all is said and done and you end up on trial that if you felt threatened you will more likely get off now.

Can't say I blame ya there. They'll turn it all around on you, but it's better then dying over nothing, other than the fact that they thought you were doing something you weren't.

Some municipalities have started to wise up to cops shit. In Indiana now it is now on the books that cops NEED a reason to search property and premise. If an officer does not present a clear purpose they are tresspassing. If they start to use violence without due cause now citizens are authorized to meet them with deadly force. I forget which one, but a county in California had passed a similar law recently after cops murdered a homeless man. If you believe an officer is intending to kill you and not just detain you then you are authorized to meet them with deadly force now. I'm against taking lives, but if it's me or a power tripping cop...

A friend of mine always refers to the cops as a legalized mafia....you have to rely on them for help and if you don't pay your taxes they come after your ass. If you are in danger and you take matters into your own hands rather then letting them help you (even if they aren't anywhere to be found or they don't show up in time) they arrest you for that too. I feel a song coming on.

I agree, law enforcement all over this country has slid into sociopathic cluster fucks and if you don't fit in with their club then you will be ousted quick. Not to say I don't know honest cops, but honest departments are a dieing breed and every honest cop knows it. The retired captain I work with is the epitome of an honest cop. He retired prematurely after being fucked with for not falsely testifying against someone. So he has an ongoing suite against his old municipality. I asked him if he had disciplinary issues with veteran cops and his eyes lit up and jaw dropped when I asked him and he proceeded to unload on me all the fucked up problems he's had hiring vets. The military police state is already here.

City of brotherly hate was always my second favorite nick-name for this city growing up. I've heard a lot of bad shit about Bloomberg so what you said below does not surprise me at all, especially when you set aside the fact that Bloomberg is a fucking dip shit he is still a part of the government which is the SOURCE of all the fucking bullshit that goes down in this country. If you took Bloomberg out of the picture, shit would still be wrong because there are people higher than he is and those people are even stupider then he is. They'll stop at nothing to make sure that they have good lives and if that means leaving the lower life people to rot and die, that's what they will do.

But one of the documentaries I was watching the cops really pissed me the fuck off. Throwing this dude to the ground because he had a gun than threatening to arrest his friend if he did not leave...his friend didn't do anything. THEN you have people coming out of their houses naturally to see what's going on and they threaten to arrest them too if they don't get back into their houses. They tried to make the people who didn't listen seem like bad guys too, "Oh well the people who are good citizens are the ones who stayed inside their homes and did not even come outside."

Uhhh, yeah excuse me Mr. Fucking Pig but if there are twelve cop cars outside my house and some dude get's thrown to the ground and his head gets busted up on MY FRONT DOOR STEP I'm going to want to know what the hell is going on too. I might not pester you with questions but I'm going to come outside and watch what the fuck is going on, because it's happening on my property and I think I have a right to know about it. That's what was happening too, these people weren't pestering them with questions they were just watching what was going on in their neighborhood.

"As you can see, everyone here is very anti-police, no one want's to talk to the police here because they all hate us."

Yeah maybe that's because your oppressive and you think you own the fucking city just because you have a fucking badge on your chest and a gun at your waist.

I always called Phili "The City of Brotherly Hate". I try to educate people one at a time that mayors, city councils, governors. senators, and everyone else throughout the system doesn't give a fuck about you or me unless money is involved for them and their friends. It is the same at every level of local, state, and federal governing. They latch on to public funded programs and throw our tax money down the hole which their friends always seem to be on the other side of said hole. Most of the time we are lucky if the public even gets something useless out of it. In NYC, one of the biggest things that got Bloombergville rolling which turned into what people know now as Occupy Wall Street was when Michael Bloomberg had the largest NYC public school spending budget passed in history. A whopping $230MIL. It all disappeared into a fake sourcing company in FL. Friends of mine tracked it down and found their addresses to be all fake. It was a dummy corp. So with proof the money was laundered friends of mine went to NYPD with accusations of laundering against Bloomberg. My friends were told they would go to jail. As George Carlin once said "they don't give a fuck, THEY DON'T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT YOU". This and many other reasons keep me fighting even while I'm working on the road. Got a whole bunch of Mikey Bloomberg and Walker educational fliers to pass out in the twin cities tomorrow. The poor sections of this country are circling the drain faster and there is real anger out there. We need people to keep protesting because it turns that energy in a more positive direction even if people think it's useless. Our biggest fear at OWS is a martial law situation where people start fighting eachother instead of the system that has been throwing them so far under the bus they're rattling off serial numbers. off the transmission.

It reminds me of when we had Mayor street in office, he put a shit ton of money towards a brand new Baseball stadium and a brand new foot ball stadium instead of just building one stadium for football and baseball and saving money or better yet keeping the stadium we already had which was a legend in Philadelphia and honestly had nothing wrong with it either. All that fucking money that could have been used for something USEFUL went towards two SEPARATE STADIUMS when we already had one that was perfectly fine.

IT's everywhere! In Michigan, Governor Snyder is goingto take over the city of Detroit, but citizens of Detroit, and it's suburbs have said HELL NO! And our governor wants to build another frigging bridge   to Canada, when that money should be used to create jobs. Governor Snyder's policies are enough to make people getout there, and get people to sign petitions to recall his ass.
