Music: Babes in toyland- Bruise violet

Hey guys :) My good friend had suggested a band to me called Babes in Toyland, and now I'm stuck on a song called Briuse Violet! XD anyways, does anyone know any other bands that aren't TOO heavy, but still have that screaming thing going on? (Not screamo screaming, but tolerable screaming, y'know?) I'm actually starting to dig it XD

The Pist played a backyard show here in El Paso back in '96 and they kicked some serious ass!

Yeah, the "Penis Envy" album is decent for female vocals that shout but aren't "Screamo". (But their brand of feminist politics may not be or everybody)

I like The Pist and Crass. Blunt-as-fuck lyrics with a nice rhythm.

The Bay City Rollers! Speaking of L7, I used to be good friends w/Dee Plakas, the drummer over 30 years ago before she moved to L.A. and joined the band.

I checked out L7 and almost every song was flipping awesome! Current favorites are Drama, Andres(of course!), shitlist, and Shove. XD

Yeah the Muffs were alright.  I dug their sound.  Good stuff.

You might also like The Avengers, X, Legal Weapon, The Bags/Alice Bag Band, and The Living Deadbeats.. For ska, I'd recommend The Selector, and The Bodysnatchers.
