I suck shit up because if you fight in school, or anywhere, it goes on your record, and with times today, that might reduce your chances of getting a job. If it weren't for that, I probably wouldv'e socked some people.

CRASS, Aus-Rotten, and there are more but Im really tired and can't think of more off the top of my head but I would have said Anti-Flag was a peace band (I wont even call them punk anymore) and its true CRASS, and Aus-Rotten are not trendy people or as a band, but the people that listen to them are trendy that is the point i am getting at

I honestly think sucking shit up is better than fighting. And it's smarter, if you know you're gonna lose, you know? As for the bands, I don't care about trendy and not trendy. Trends tend to last a month in my school.

@toyrusdethsquad-im gonna say quite the opposite actually on the peace punk issue. name a couple peace punk bands that r "trendy". but i can name almost every non peace punk band that IS trendy. IE casualties, anti flag, black flag, misfits, rancid, ramones, the pistols, gg allin, the list goes on

Fighting doesn't really solve anything. My position is that you should only fight as a last resort, but try exploring other avenues of diplomacy first. Don't be the one to throw the first punch. Don't think I'm some namby pamby wimp who won't fight back, but as I said before, only as a last resort, and you know talking just aint gonna work.

Yeah, well say what you will, but for me it's NOT a trend. this is how I was raised and how I grew up. It is a part of my belief system and moral code. I don't give a damn about the posers and trendies. When you've seen what I've seen, been where I've been, and known the people I have known in my 47 years of walking this earth, you find out very quickly who's the real deal, and who's not.

Because I guarantee half or more of those peace flag wearing hippies are only in it because it is "cool" just like generic punk bands that all sing songs that are "cool" for punks to sing about - you know what I am talking about because if you listen to the music you begin to see the trend.
