The Audacity formed in 2001 When Matt, Kyle, Cole, and Chuck decided to make a rock and roll band. They played a few shows under the name Non-Toxic, The Plaid, and The Attachments before switching to Audacity. Bassist Cole Wilson parted ways with the band due to musical differences. He was replaced by the wild and daring Cameron Crowe, and Audacity continued to play shows all over the OC/LA area. In 2005, we were nominated for the "best high school band" in the OC music awards. In 2006 we were again, and we lost both times!! Recently, due to diminishing interest in the band and growing interest in his girlfriend, Eve, Chuck Mordaunt was swapped out for old friend and fellow musician, Thomas. Recently The band has been recording tapes, Practicing all the time, and playing shows when they come up. A 10" vinyl will be ready soon from smoking barrel records, as we are just waiting for it to be finished pressing. If you have any shows you want us to play, lets us know!! |
