Ya I loved Gilman street.  We had some clubs that were trying to do the same kinda thing in DC, but no one ever really took interest in anything there.  So you live close to SF then?

  Ya Austin has pretty good scene and it reminds me of the whole Gilman street scene.  Punks everywhere on the weekend.  A real loose atmosphere.. 

   BUt all in all it's great to hear that Gilman is still going..

   Your right though, I remember once saying a few years ago during an arguement with someone, that if the average will not tolerate it if you make to expensive to drive his car, or watch his TV, or... whatever.  But like sheep they still run to the gas pump to fill up their hummers, grumbling all the.  I wonder if we.. as whole country just stopped driving for a day.  I wonder how the oil companies will handle that little "dent" in their profits...

  It's rare to see someone your age list literature as an interest these days, it's a crop not many people sew.  What do you like to read??
