Uglor was a hardcore punk-metal band founded in 1986 in El Paso, Texas. Uglor played numerous shows around Texas and New Mexico, with bands such as the Rhythm Pigs, MDC, Verbal Abuse and Operation Ivy. Uglor recorded two demos and distributed them through friends strictly by word of mouth.
After jamming together as a band for 3 years, legendary punk-rock artist Stevo-cide joined the group as lead guitarist. Stevo-cide tattooed all the band members, and many friends with his original artwork. He is known for his elaborate and highly detailed tattoos and air-brush work. Uglor disbanded in 1990 just after recording their first full length CD entitled "the Wild Boar". Engineered by Kendall in Elgin, Texas, the recording was never officially released, but was briefly available in bootleg cassette form by Eyespider Records in 1990-1991. |
