The band was formed by brothers Dave and Joe Harris in 1997 after Dave's
original band The Sussed (92-97) had split up. Growing up in the
streets of America’s steel city, the boys had turned their working class
lifestyle into music and continue to do the same 13 years later in
2010. The Traditionals toured in Germany in 2006 with Evil Conduct,
Hardskin and 4 Promille. Continually playing since the beginning, The
band is currently working on a fifth release. The Traditionals will be
playing at the 2011 Punk and Disorderly Festival in Berlin, Germany
followed by a small tour in Europe.

INFLUENCES
UK and American Punk and oi! bands from the early eighties and
today. We play what comes out each week and try not to model our sound
around the cookie cutter labels that exist in music today.
some of our favorites include:
Buisness, Sham 69, Clash, Infa-riot, Partisans, Motorhead, Templars,
Oxymoron, 4-skins, cocksparrer, vibrators, stiff little fingers,
Generation x, Rezillos, The Blood, Major Accident, Adicts, Cron Gen,
Blitz, Ramones, Dead Boys, Toy Dolls, Menace, Patriot, The Damned, 999,
The Crack, Uk Subs, Splodge, Cockney rejects, Last resort, The
Betrayed, The Saints, The , x-ray specs, Rezillos and many other
working class legends
EXPLAIN THE NAME
We like to remember our roots and would like the Punk and Oi! movement to come together once again so we can continue to have a venue to speak our minds and have our say.
