| EXPLAIN THE NAME |
'Round about 1984 We were kicking around name ideas and someone said Subverse.....but that's not a word ! Oh yeah ? , look it up . It wasn't a word , but we thought it worked on two levels...it sounded like the root of subversion and secondly , on a musical level with the whole verse thing....We are owed money for sure , because subverse is now a poetic literary term and has been used by a British boy band , hip hop dudes and rave/event planners ( it isn't recognised by my spellchecker....curious ?! ) |
