Yeah I love all kinds of music! I grew up on folk and jazz. And then discovered punk and metal which lead to my addiction to ska and rockabilly/psychobilly. I also love underground hip-hop....so yeah I have a shit load of music that I like.

I'm a big horror movie fanatic! The more blood and guts the better! I also love classic films from the 40s and 50s.
It's hard growing up the 'black girl' who wears plaid pants, chucks and a studded belt. I've gone half my life being judged by what I look like rather than what I know and love. It made me cynical and guarded and a smart ass to boot!

Cool. The bay area is a great place to live. I miss it every day. All my friends and family are there. It sucks living in the midwest, especially for someone who grew up in cali. I can't bad mouth Minneapolis/St. Paul too much though. There really is a fairly decent punk scene and overall great music scene, theater, killer pubs and bars and good eats, lots of bike trails so I can take my mountain bike out (now that the fuckin' snow has gone away), etc. It's sort of like this little sanctuary of coolness in the shitty midwest. Actually, I imagine Chicago would be a cool place to live too. Otherwise, the midwest sucks ass.
If I had to move again though, I would probably move to Oregon or Washington. I really like Portland and would love to live in that area. Seattle is cool too.
No sweat. I'm originally from San Mateo, which is south of San Francisco. Just moved to Minneapolis last year...still wondering if it was a good or bad idea. Although, Minneapolis does have a pretty cool music scene and it's much more affordable than the bay area.
There are people on the streets getting diseases from monkeys/yeah that's right they're getting diseases from monkies/there's junkies with monkies disease/who's touching these monkies please/leave these poor sick monkies alone they have problems enough as it is
That's what I was thinking of when I sent that note to you. I know, kinda random. I really like that show though.
