| SS-KALIERT started as a 4-piece in April 2003 in the Ruhrpott region of
Germany. After changing bass-players the band started gigging heavily in
Germany which caught the attention THE KASSIERER lead-singer Wölfi who
put out the bands first 7" "Stand Up & Fight". The Band added a 2nd
guitar-player and played even more live all over Europe. In 2005 the
Boston based label FNS RRECORDS put out a s/t 7" for the US Market.
Later that year the band teamed up with the PUNKCORE RECORDS from NYC
who released their debut full-length "DSKlation" in 2006. From 2006 up
to now SS-KALIERT played 2 US tours, 2 Full European tours, a Japan tour
& has played almost everywhere in Europe including Countries where
any band hardly touches soil such as: Greece, Macedonia or Croatia. In
between they released a split 7" with MOUTH SEWN SHUT from Boston on
their own label RAZORBLADE-MUSIC & a Japan-tour split CD with
FUTURELESS SYSTEM from Saporro on E.A.S.T PEACE RECORDS.In May
2008 the Band released their 2nd more powerful and melodic record
"Addiction" on RAZORBLADE-MUSIC (CD) & MANIAC ATTACK RECORDS (LP).
Addiction became one of the hardest and most aggressive records in
German punkrock scene of the new age and got a lot of very good reviews
from all over Europe! Later that year the band went on a very successful
tour, called the INTERNATIONAL CHAOS TOUR through central Europe to
promote the Album. As the Band has a huge fan base behind the
iron curtain it was just a question of time when they would get invited
to Russia! In April 2009 SS-KALIERT finally played a short tour through 4
of the most important cities for Punkrock in Russia. Bomb-threats and
Army Security at shows are just a small part of the weird stories from
the east. Lately they got into conflict with the German law, which
sued them for having those two, provocative letters in their band-name.
But in the end they've been fully discharged by the court in second
level of jurisdiction.The boys decided to play a 2nd part of the INTERNATIONAL CHAOS TOUR, this time heading towards southern Europe! Right now SS-KALIERT is working on their 3rd full-length album which will be released soon on PEOPLE LIKE YOU RECORDS.Furthermore they are preparing to play some well assorted shows with US punkrock institution of THE KRUM BUMS in 2011. All this in not even 7 years makes SS-KALIERT to one of the hardest working punkrock-bands in the World!!!SS-KALIERT
is not a racist, fascist, nationalist, patriotic or nazi-band, neither
is S(SKA)LIERT a SKA band, or preach any kind of politics in their
songs. SS-KALIERT is 120% fast & furious punkrock, with no
compromises in their lyrics – NOT MORE - NOT LESS!!! |

| EXPLAIN THE NAME |
| SS-KALIERT is usualy written Es Eskaliert, but SS-KALIERT is cooler. it means "it is Escalating" German Goverment is sewing us right now, coz they weant us to change it. |
