As far as punk goes... All the original LA/Hollywood bands like X, Germs, Weirdoes, Screamers plus the Avengers, Zeros, Dills. I likes some of the overseas stuff especially Stiff Little Fingers, The Buzzcocks. But when the orange county and "hard-core" stuff started coming in it was NO FUN for me at least. And I really did not want anything to do with it. Nowadays I still like oldies and anything that is fun and positive. All the smash the state stuff is boring. Way too much heat but very little light. |
| I'd Like to Meet |
Anyone who loves life and thinks living is worthwhile and being kind ta folks is better than yelling and warring on them. Anyone who is humble enough to admit that they are a work in progress and that they really don’t know as much as they think they do. Anyone who admits that they don’t really know the heart of another until they have walked in their shoes. I can talk to folks like that all day long.
When I was punking out we all knew that we were shit. It was real, sometimes not so pretty but honest. That was cool but when that changed in me and in the people around me, I split "into the wild" sort of. Years later I'm back to where I started, being honest about myself, my faults and victories. |

| ABOUT ME |
I don’t have much time for this now. I’ll add more later maybe… Suffice it ta say. I was born in Puerto Rico, lived most of my young-adult life in California. Was into surfing and music, joined a couple of punk bands, the only ones most people know about are Black Flag and Red Cross. Left California for Canada, rocked on for several more years in different bands, married the best girl in the world, had 4 awesome kids and then things got really cool and interesting… Life is great!
