The Hammurabi Code has been the fundamental base for modern day law, however, the Religious Influence of the Q'uran over the Code, Interprets Q'uran as Law.

The Rossetta Stone was Carved in stone by the Ptolemaic Dinasty, who's origins are Greek, the Macedonian Conquest of Alexandria in Egypt made Ptolemy the Sage that Tried to Implement the Greek Democratic Practice as a Beacon of Hope to Complement the Code of Law.   That's why we base Law on the Hamurabi Code & Democracy on the Rossetta Stone. 

More or less, The Napoleonic Invasion to Egypt brought the Rossetta Stone to the Light.....
