| In world geared toward shorter and shorter attention spans Radio City
Soundsystem reflects a Warhol gone mad reality where everyone is famous
for around two or three minutes. Influences are as easily drawn from
television, youtube or a social networking website as from their peers
in music.
Radio City Soundsystem combine driving guitars with a rapid-fire vocal
delivery and layer it all with enough keyboards and synths to make
Vince Clarke blush. Forget about your indie-pop, Radio City Soundsystem
is the rock of the future!

| EXPLAIN THE NAME |
| Radio City, once called Radio Sutch, was a UK based pirate radio station which operated on abandoned offshore military platforms. The radio station was started by Screamin' Lord Sutch, whose pre-punk enthusiasm for rock provides an example for us all. We make use of electronics and other sounds which are not within our current abilities to perform live in an engaging manner. Therefore we prefer to be a "soundsystem" than a band. We're a great punk rock band... but we are also more than that. Check it out... you'll see what we mean. |
