The band was formed in april 2006.But the idea for this is very much older.
It started when I ( Martin ) started to play guitar.
Me and my friend (t in 2004,god bless him) wanted to create a band.We didn´t wanted to play any songs,no Blues in A ,like evreyone,we wanted make special music,like noone.
Punk-Rock had a very bad image at that time,espacially to musicians.
So like:just 3 chords and much speed.But that’s all we needed/wanted.
So we took a songbook and found german traditional folksongs and tried to punk them.And …that was it.I say,that’s the roots of punk (reminding the image).The people at that time just hadn´t power for E-guitars.
The songs we play we mostly choose by lyrics.It´s very important to us that we don´t sing and play just any shit,we don´t want to be a funpunk-band only (although we have and make a lot of fun).So we have many songs with political lyrics,anarcho songs,social critical lyrics……….. |
