I am a bit of a contradiction. I LOVE PUNK ROCK music and have been into PUNK and PSYCHOBILLY for most of my life. Even though I'm a mom... I've got my edge. I may not have green or blue hair but I do manage to keep up some cool styles =). My clothes change with my moods. But my tattoos always stay the same... Nowadays I am a mother and a wife. At heart I am a bit of a conservative!! So does that makes me a conservative punk rocker or is that an oxymoron? Before you say OMG conservative... let me explain; I am fiscally conservative with open-minded 'life' views. I believe gay people should enjoy the same rights as everyone including partner benefits and what have you. I think the war on drugs is a waste of tax money and time. People do not need the government to regulate every little part of their life. I teach my son to LOVE everyone and accept everyone no matter their race, religion, lifestyles and/or sexual preference....Individuality makes the world go round. Everything a person does and believes makes them unique and special. I am pretty open minded and don't expect you to judge me either. I believe in a 'God" and while I hope that Jesus was the Christ I have my doubts and they overwhelm my ability to put all my life into blind faith. I don't judge you....you don't judge me and we will get alone just fine. I do not try to form to any set mold. I am who I am and I am full of surprises. I am very aware of the world around me and like to know what is going on. I read, watch, listen and Google news/politics. If I had to classify my political beliefs I would say I am a right-leaning centrist, a Republitarian, or quite simply a "South Park Republican" but in truth I lean more and more toward the Libertarian party with each passing day. I'm not a fan of hypocrites. I find them down-right annoying, pointless and pathetic. If you claim to be open-minded and diverse in your opinions but do not accept someone simply because they think differently than you... grow up, get a life and get educated. The world is full of many different types of people, thoughts, religions and ideals....learn to live in today's world of acceptance and growth or get left behind in ignorance. Your call. I have no time for people who are close-minded, hypocritical and/or not open to different viewpoints. I never judge a book by it's cover and while I may not make friends easy once I do it's for life. Of course I also care less if you believe me or not.
