Freekshow was born in the bay area with a natural inclination for all things rock-n-roll. He was uprooted to Boise, Idaho at the age thirteen. At age twenty he relocated to Montana where he attended Montana State University and became a college radio DJ on KBGA hosting the “Late Night Chaos Show.” He then transferred to Portland State University to continue his education as well as the radio show on KPSU for another two and a half years. Through his active involvement with college radio, he developed and fostered a number of key relationships within the radio, recording and touring industries. He used those contacts to launch his own independent radio promotions company, “Freekshow Promotions.” Currently, Freekshow resides in Hollywood where he is in the process of relaunching Freekshow Promotions, is a freelance journalist covering concert events as well as a session vocalist and frontman extraordinaire for Hollywood 77. |
