Die Ignorant is a five-piece punk band from Tempe, AZ. Their up-and-coming deubt ep,
"Songs Motivating You..." is set to be released in winter '07.With such a wide range of
influences you never know what you might get when listening to a Die Ignorant song.
Songs such as a politically driven Bombscare, or a night filled with drinking Humachine
are all mixed in with "Songs Motivating You...". Any fan of Die Ignorant would have to
agree, although the music is great the only way to see Die Ignorant is live. The 30 to
40 minute sets are consistent in both hilarity and intensity of the music. With only being
in existence for alittle over a year Die Ignorant has shared the stage with local favorites
like: My Doll, Reburn & the Skidmarks, Rotten Youth, Sigma, and West End Crooks.
As well as national bands such as Left Alone (Hellcat Records), Go Betty Go (Side One Dummy Records),
SS-Kaliert (Punkcore Records), and Monster Squad (Punkcore Records). Die Ignorant has also
played almost every venue in the Tempe/Phoenix area. The lengthy list includes: The Clubhouse,
The Sets, Yucca Tap Room, Jugheads, Mardi Gras, The Big Fish, and UB's. Die Ignorant is currently
the featured band on local punk site http://azpunk.com (as of oct. 2007). The future for Die Ignorant
holds a possible Arizona winter tour, and a cd release show. |
