Formed in the spring 2004 for Shades to learn how to play drums and not thinking anything would come out of it . Played at Jon's ( Ron's brother) going away party with early raw versions of songs that would later be CHJ songs . For that show Jon sang , Ron played guitar and Shades on drums . After Jon left for Sac State ,Shades and Ron kept practicing and added Josh on bass in early Oct. to add much needed depth and stage presence .  Played there first show together on Dec. 4th 2004 at a Mexican resturant in Rialto called Shango's Grill owned at the time by a good friend of the band . Since then CHJ has played at the Whiskey a go -go , HOB Anaheim , Double Down Saloon Vegas and countless dive bars and other venues in Cali and even in TJ . Also have had the privilege of playing with Agent Orange , Smogtown, U.S. Bombs , The Stitches, Running on Fumes and Naroleptic youth. CHJ my not be the best band in the world but can rock out and put on a good show like the rest of them .
