CRISE TOTAL(Total Crisis)formed in '83 in a lisbon suburb called Algueirao,from the start they're sound was akin to british and american '80's Hardcore,although after 6 years it turned into a bit more post-punkish thing wich saw the band changing they're name...they had several line-ups but most of the time and recently the dynamic duo(Manolo/Rui Rocker)singer and guitarrist have just celebrated 25 years together again Crise Total are back with a vengeance...they are seen in portugal as the pioneers of the punk movement along with bands like MATA-RATOS/AQUI DEL ROCK/CAGALHOES,etc...releases over the years----"live at the R.R.V"(comp.-1 track(dansa do som('84)/"live '84"(stop apartheid tapes('84)/"live '85"(som subversivo('85)/"tour de farce"(comp.-1track('89)/cd"the crisis continues"(fast'n'loud('96)/cd"caos em portugal"(comp.-2trax(ataque sonoro('98)/cd"involuntary suicide"(zerowork recs('03)/cd"truly alive at the R.R.V."(subsoundz('08)/vynil'7inch"rarities vol.1"(zerowork recs('09)/cd"sunrise black"(Proletopia recs('09) ![]() < A> |

| think it says it all-TOTAL CRISIS!!...but when the band formed as usual elections were on and all the politicians would talk about the current crisis(not our current one...hehe)so we just added total to the normal spoken word of the time! |
