CRAPSTAR was founded sometime in 2002 as a project of old friends, joining back together to play some good old noisy music without focusing on a specific style of music. All Members have been playing in Punk-, Hardcore- and skabands for more than 15 years. This is a fun band project in the first place. We all got jobs besides the music.

We started this sometime in 2002 as an addition to the various other bands we played in and to get back to where we all started with; a mixture of Rock, Punk and a bit of Hardcore. Besides our drummer Andi the rest of us pretty much started making music all together back in 1993 in band called CELLKIRK that lasted until 2000 or 2001. Andi played with a band called the THREE O´CLOCK HEROES at that time. Rainer and Käss played in TEN BUCK FUCK, Üni and Andi played together in FRAU DOKTOR, a very good ska band with german lyrics. We are here to find interesting people and maybe new friends, so we will add anyone or any band we do like and / or would like to know.
Also, als wir vor 15 Jahren im Keller vom „Käss“ angefangen haben wie die Wilden auf irgendwelchen Instrumenten rumzukloppen, gab’s noch gar keine Homepages oder wir wussten nichts davon.
Bis zum heutigen Tag hat sich da einiges verändert. Punk ist nicht mehr Punk !!?? Da kam einiges dazwischen wie wir alle wissen, aber das ist eine lange Geschichte .....
Es wurden viele Träume geträumt und viele Akkorde geschrammelt. Das gehört zur Vergangenheit - naja geschrammelt wird heute auch noch - aber an "groß ’rauskommen" denkt da keiner mehr an ein "Leben auf Tour" eh nicht. Das schöne ist, nach all den Jahren kann man sich jetzt ganz zwanglos mit seinen Kumpels treffen kann und einfach mal draufloszocken, ein anderer Kumpel macht einem ’ne Homepage und dann schreibt man ein paar Sachen ’drauf. Hier und da wird mal ein Gig gespielt, "danke dafür" und siehe da, ein paar Leuten gefällt’s. So wird’s gemacht und so bleibt’s hoffentlich!

Wir planen die alten Cellkirksachen demnächst mal ins Netz zu stellen, die Adresse wird hier bekant gegeben.
