We all live on Sheppey and have all been friends for at least 20 years. We have all come from different punk bands. So we have the best of the best.
We are having a great time playing around, our motto being ‘wake up! Get up! Play up!’
‘F’ our guitarist/ singer is like a jukebox, we plug him in and off he goes, Tetrus (Daz) the drummer/ singer is the youngest in the group and needs to be with the energy he puts in, Animal (Noz) is our most recent member playing aggressive bass/ singer (formerly our drummer) and me Sean who is the only original member, I have always been the bass/ singer.
With the sudden death, last year, of my best friend Steve, Criminal Brainstorm have formed into the line up that we have now. Steve was the backbone of the band playing guitar and lead singer, the band being called ‘Portrait of Insanity’, the music had changed over the many years from punk to dance and beyond.
After Steve died we grabbed ‘F’ and Daz Champ, an excellent front man, returned to our punk roots and started gigging within three weeks.
Daz stood down as singer so I took over.
Our music is old school punk, with many tongue in cheek songs like ‘even robots get spots, Lurex lucy’ and our own ‘Pretty Ancient’, written by Daz Champ, a twist to the sex pistols song .
We are busy gigging and recently produced our demo, done in one night with the assistance of Pete.
yeah i definetly will ! ,well im arriving in england on the 5th for rebellion and will be there for a month and 5 days, and itd be pretty rad to get see one of your gigs when im down there cos its not like i get to go to england everyday *wishes...(mostly cause most of what i listen to is from there) :D
