BJP is a ska-core band with many other influences in the mix. They have been a band since late 2004 and have been playing out in the New England area strong since 2005. Members include founders Tony Gemba (theramin/lead vox) and John Marden (guitar), as well as Andy Mirsberger (bass/backing vox), Jeff Angelo (trumpet), Jon-Erik Tryggestad (trumpet) and Evan Berg (drums). The band is notorious for their partying and shenanigans as well as their strong belief in a unified Boston Music Scene. With 2 full lengths under their belts and a new one in the works with Boofish from RI Ska-Punk-Hardcore band The Brunt Of It, expect these MA DIY ska-punkers to keep on making their unique style of ska-core and playing their energetic/off-the-wall live shows for a long time!!!
