Russian Band Beat Devils is performing in a style close to punkobilly, neo-rockabilly, psychobilly. It was formed in 2001 in Moscow With the following band members: Mike "Gremlin" Bogdanov - double bass, back vocals; Andy Lougovoi - guitar, vocals; Teo Nikolaev - drums From that time the band made a great number of single concerts, as well as it took part in different festivals of Rockabilly and Psychobilly music. During all this time the band is touring constantly in Saint Petersburg, Kiev, Tula, Ivanovo, Krasnodar, Ekaterinburg, Yaroslavl, Surgut, Perm and many other cities. On 8 December 2005 Their first album "Get the Beat and Meet the Devils" was released by Russian musical company "Mysteria Zvuka". Eleven self-composed tracks with a modern mix of psychobilly, bluegrass and neo-rockabilly is a final result of 4-year work, tours and rehearsals. Later it was released by TCY-Records also and now it is available in Europe. The album got a number of press-releases and reviews in Russia and abroad. In June 2006 their song "Wild Rockin' Mama" was issued by German magazine "Dynamite" on the official compilation together with Calamitiez, Big John Bates, Cari Lee, Dieter Kropp, Big Bad Shakin' and etc Beat Devils performed on the same stage with many famous Russian and foreign artists (Space Cadets, Quakes, Demented Are Go, Tony Montanos, Red Elvises, Nine Lives, Milwaukee Wildmen and others) |
