The Ipswich based Bad A.N.D.Y was formed in September 2005 through partysounds.co.uk and friends of friends. We didnt set out to have a certain sound... it just kinda happens through jamming and bouncing ideas off each other. Everyone is involved in the writing process which is why our songs are full of different influences. The set is really quite varied, it ranges from some really chilled out acoustic tracks to some jingly jangly indie tracks, a bit of ska and some shouty rawkin tunes. Drummer, Daz joined in late 2006 and brings with him 25 years of playing in bands. Extreme Noise Terror being one of many. The flowery pop was now changing into a more hard edged, late 70s girl punk pop (how many more cliches can I get in there) kinda thing. The songs on the profile are testament to that new sound, and were recorded and produced by Ian Crow of AmblinMan Studios, in october 2007.

Due to unforseen circumstances, we said goodbye to bass player Skuff whose groovy bass lines are on the current recordings and we said hello to Alex from local covers band Teenage Kicks in May 2008. With a gorgeous girlfriend waiting in Surrey we lost our beloved drummer Daz and recruited new drummer Andy in July 2008... hmmm maybe a name change is next on the cards for the band.
